Who we are
CSS Edge (cssedge.com) is a learning website for people preparing for the CSS written exam in Pakistan. You can contact us at contact@cssedge.com.
What information we collect
- Your name and email address, if you join our email list. You give us this yourself through a signup form.
- Messages you send us by email.
- Basic usage data, such as which pages are visited, the device and browser used, and the approximate location of visitors. This comes from analytics tools and cookies and is not used to identify you personally.
- Technical data needed to run the site, such as your IP address in server logs.
How we use it
We use your information to send you the emails you signed up for (new lessons, quizzes, guides and updates), to reply to your messages, to understand which parts of the site are useful so we can improve them, and to keep the site secure and working.
Services that process your information
- Email list: MailerLite stores your email address and sends our emails. Its own privacy policy applies to how it handles your data.
- Analytics: Google Analytics and Google Search Console, connected through the Site Kit plugin, help us understand how the site is used.
- Hosting: the site is hosted by Hostinger, which stores the site and its data on its servers.
Cookies
The site uses cookies that are needed to make it work, and cookies from analytics tools that help us understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may then not work as expected.
Accounts
Some features may later ask you to create a free account. If so, we will store the name and email address you provide so that the account can work.
How long we keep your information
We keep your email address on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Messages you send us are kept for as long as we need them to reply and keep a record. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of the analytics service.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to contact@cssedge.com.
Children
The site is meant for exam candidates and is not aimed at young children.
